Akt Drawing

Concept Art

I have done some concept art lately and I thought I could show the process.

So first I try to come up with some fun concepts. I use two different ways of doing this, one where I paint with aquarelle and then paint over with a tusj.

The other method is just painting with tusj from the start. hehe.

Then I try to figure out what's going on in the first concept and clarify it. I change the design a little and add some details.

At the end I draw the character over again on the computer and this time I add a lot of detail and then some colors.

The character is changing a little for each stage as it gets more detailed.

I try to keep the feel from the original drawing, something i find very hard.

Hope you like it :-)

Wiiu Drawing

So I have been trying a drawing program on my Wii U lately and it is a lot of fun. The cool thing is that I can draw while watching TV in my sofa, awesome feature.

Birthday Portrait

My little brother turn 18 today, woop woop.
It is an important day in a man's life,
you get the privilege of buying beer,
drive a car and sign your own papers :-)
This portrait is my gift to him on this glorious day.

Happy birthday Håkon

Digital Painting Practice

It have been a while since I used my drawing tablet, so it was about time that i started again.

I have been practicing Life Drawing by using artists.pixelovely.com which is a great website for drawing reference.

I only posted the drawings i used some time on. Hopefully it will be more good ones in the near future. :-)

My new blogg

So I finally made my own blog. I have been thinking about it for a while and it was about time. I will use this blog to show drawings, animations and projects I am working on. For my first post I didn't have anything super new, so I just put up a drawing from my portfolio. hehe. Hope you like it.
